OUR TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
In one line, Wagabonding Dog Training is all about training your dog to become the best version of themselves through science-based, positive reinforcement methods while fostering an unbreakable bond with them.
Your dog is doing the best they can with the information you are providing. The question is, are you really providing them with the right information? At Wagabonding, we believe in equipping your dog as well as you with the right kind of training and know-how that will help you understand your dog thoroughly and enable you to be the leader your dog can look up to.
JUMP TO SERVICES AND COST
When it comes to educating an animal, you should be wary of any trainer who puts a time limit and a guarantee to success. Progress looks different in every dog, to every dog parent and to every trainer.
The progress you and your dog make are directly proportional to the time and effort you commit to the training program. Ideally, you should have one training session every 1 – 3 weeks, depending on the behavioral issue in consideration, to ensure you are giving yourself and your pup enough time to practice, reinforce, and ingrain the lessons. Treat your training sessions as a canvas. What we paint is what we get. What you train is what you raise.
SERVICES AND COST
One-size-fits-all? Naah! That’s NOT how we roll! Whether your pup is a couch king, or a sit-and-stay star, or likes to be on the go all the time, or has the stubborn-mutt syndrome, we’ve got you covered! At Wagabonding, we have a knack for turning mischievous mutts into well-mannered marvels, without them losing the essence of their personality and you, your mind!

2. Taming the Teenage Rebel
6 months to 1 year is when dogs can be considered teenagers. This is the time when your boundaries and patience will be tested the most; the time when your dog will probably try to drag you down the street with their excellent leash-pulling skills. While you’re working on one behavioral issue, you might notice 3 more cropping up. Let’s board the ship together for a smoother ride! Here is a sneak peek of the services we offer to tame the teenage rebel –

Starting late? Need a training refresher? Imagine a world where your dog greets guests calmly, walks beside you without pulling, and dashes back to you like you’ve got the last slice of pizza when you call. Sound like a dream? It’s totally possible… Trust us! Here’s what fetching good manners covers-
- A reliable recall
- Better leash walking
- Dealing with hyperactivity

4. Trick or Treating
If you think old dogs can’t learn new tricks, think again. Whether it’s high-fives, rollovers, spinning, dancing on two legs or the world-famous “play dead,” we’ll help your pup steal the spotlight (and maybe win a talent show or two).
5. Canine Confidence Classes
For shy pups who’d rather blend into the dog bed than mingle, we help build confidence with our behavior modification and anxiety management programs. We cover –
- Separation anxiety
- General anxiety
- Fearfulness
- Location-specific anxiety (vet’s, groomer’s salon, vehicles, etc)
- Environment-specific anxiety (walks, new places, etc)
- Stimulus-specific anxiety (crate, loud noises, dogs, people, thunder, etc)
6. Helping the Reactive Dog
Is your dog ready to take on every passing car, squirrel, or dog with a bark-fueled charge? Our reactive dog training is here to help transform those over-the-top reactions into more manageable and collected behavior. We understand that a reactive dog is not giving you a problem, they’re having a problem. In our reactive dog training program, we focus on helping you understand your dog’s reactivity, shift your mindset, set the right expectations for your dog, and work with them to help them lead a more fulfilled life.
